Full Stop Café

Surf, fries and salty kids

Located adjacent to the Cape St Francis Resort in Da Gama Road Cape St Francis, Full Stop Café is the long-haired brother to Joe Fish, attracting a laid-back, kid-friendly restaurant type crowd. Surfers are frequently found discussing waves at the bar, while groms snack on sweet potato fries out on the generous deck.

A slice of pizza heaven

With plenty of seating, both inside and out, you can grab a gourmet burger at the bar, settle down with steaks at a family sized table, or share a selection of starters outside in the garden. As far as pizza places go consider your slice of heaven found, with crispy wood-fire bases generously ladled with your choice of toppings and crowned with cheesy delight.

Dish it up, darling

Trendy plating accompanies the fantastic food that also includes light meals such as wraps, salads, prego rolls, fish and chips, nachos, stir fries and pastas. Make sure you read the restaurant chalk board for seasonal specials, ranging from sesame seared long fin tuna to cob fillets grilled in garlicky butter.

Tempting the tums of tots

The groms, of course, are not forgotten and kid-friendly favourites like chicken nuggets and chips, burgers and toasties please little tastebuds. Child-friendly entertainment comes in the form of a fun fountain block, toy crammed Wendy house, and the ever popular jumping castle.

Top local tip: Treat the kids by sending them to the ice-cream fridge to pick out their own gelato cup.

"Awesome place! Will definately visit again!"

Cocktails, craft beer and cabernet

Beer afficionados will enjoy the good selection of local craft beer on tap, while others mull over artisanal gins, colourful cocktails and a collection of well-priced wines.

We make it with love like Mamma does

The restaurant’s complete lack of airs and graces only adds to its homely, social vibe. But behind the scenes serious cooking and grilling takes place, as one plate after another leaves the Full Stop kitchen with an aroma of deliciousness hanging in the air.

Dine with us or takeout

Full Stop Café is open from Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner and it’s wise to book a table, especially for dinner. The restaurant also provides takeout to the wider St Francis Bay area.

Top local tip: Saturday nights at the Full Stop often rock with awesome local live music.

Our port elizabeth guest house

We are situated in Newington Street, Richmond Hill on a quiet tree-lined lane, filled with historic and gracefully restored buildings. The peace of the picturesque neighbourhood belies its location in central Port Elizabeth where the heartbeat of the city pulses nearby and the main N2 highway that charters motorists in and out the Bay is but a few streets down.

The saying goes that in Port Elizabeth nothing is more than 15 minutes away and with Richmond Hill this most definitely rings true.
